Te Ara ki te Ao Auaha, “The pathway to the creative world”, is a short documentary produced in partnership between Three Lakes Cultural Trust and PivotInno, with support from the Queenstown Lakes District Council Economic Diversification Fund.
Through the voices and experiences of six local creatives, the film explores what it takes to build a sustainable and thriving creative career in the Queenstown Lakes region.
Te Ara ki te Ao Auaha offers an honest and inspiring insight into the realities of working within the creative industries in Aotearoa’s south.
Blending personal storytelling with a grounded, human perspective, the documentary highlights the people helping shape the region’s creative future, and the pathways emerging for the next generation of artists, makers, storytellers, and entrepreneurs.
